Missing 69-year-old man located safe: Halton police

Halton police are thanking the public for their efforts in locating a missing 69-year-old man.

Yat Nam Wong was reported missing on Wednesday after he failed to return home after a trip to the store in Oakville.

Police issued a news release asking for help in locating Wong.

Shortly before 8 a.m. on Thursday, Halton police said in a tweet that Wong had been safely located.

Missing Person Update – Mr. Wong has been safely located. We would like to thank the public and the media for their assistance in this investigation.
