McMaster ranks 5th in Canada

McMaster University ranks as the fifth best overall university in Canada according to a new report.

The Times Higher Education World University Rankings also puts Mac 88th out of 400 universities globally.

Schools were judged in five categories; teaching, research, citations, international outlook and industry income, where McMaster’s score was highest.

That measures how successful a school is at attracting industry investment.

The University of Toronto was ranked number one in Canada, while the California Institute of Technology was ranked first in the world.
