McMaster Marauders quarterback Kyle Quinlan has received a one-year conditional sentence.

Quinlan pled guilty to causing a disturbance, after an incident last September at a campus bar.

He was charged with one count of assault and two counts of assault against a police officer.

Quinlan has now been placed on one year probation, must abstain from alcohol and get alcohol counselling.

He’s also banned from the campus pub, “Twelve-Eighty”.

In court Wednesday, Quinlan apologized to his teammates and his family.
