The mayor of Pelham, Marvin Junkin, and his wife Candice are mourning the loss of their son Zachary.

A statement released from the mayor’s office on Monday says 28-year-old Zachary died unexpectedly from natural causes on Friday.

The family says they’ll fondly remember him for his quick wit and good-natured humour.

He leaves behind his partner Brooke and his young daughter Celeste.
