Massive boulder nearly tumbles on to 403

When it comes to dangerous rock slides from the escarpment, Hamilton has now seen three.

The latest close call for drivers happened on the 403 this afternoon after a giant bolder came crashing down from the escarpment, stopping very close to the lanes below. This is the second incident in less than 24 hours, and comes just two weeks after the Claremont Access had to be shut down after a retaining wall gave way.
