Over 10-thousand people from Ontario could be part of the largest-ever aging study to take place in Canada.
Starting this month, thousands of invitations will be mailed out to Ontario residents between 45 and 85 years of age to participate in the study.
The Canadian Longitudinal Study on Aging will follow fifty thousand men and women in that age range for 20 years.
The study aims to uncover the root of age-related diseases and the causes of healthy aging.
McMaster University in Hamilton and Bruyere Research Institute in Ottawa are the data collection sites in Ontario.
