Marineland sues former trainer

Marineland has filed a $1 million lawsuit against a former trainer who went to the media with allegations of animal abuse.

The suit accuses Christine Santos, a 12 year employee defamed Marineland and its owner John Holer.

However as Lauran Sabourin reports, Phil Demers – the former trainer
who originally went to the Toronto Star with abuse allegations – was not named in the lawsuit and has not been sued by Marineland.
