Marineland investigations continue

Ontario’s Ministry of the Environment plans to investigate mass animal graves at Marineland in Niagara Falls.

A former animal supervisor says more than a thousand animals have been buried over the years in large pits.

In a separate investigation, two veterinarians and five inspectors with the OSPCA paid another surprise visit to park this week.

It’s the third inspection the agency had done since former Marineland employees alleged in the summer that animals were neglected.

Marineland denies those allegations, and recently filed a lawsuit against one of the former employees.
