Maple Syrup Fest in Rockton

Today is the first day of maple syrup season.

It’s also the first day of Maple Syrup Fest in Rockton

The festival kicked off today at Westfield Heritage Village.

It was an opportunity for people to learn how maple syrup was made in the 1800s, how it is made today, and to have a taste of the good stuff of course.

Visitors also had the opportunity to visit historic buildings in the Heritage Village.

Maple Syrup Fest runs every Sunday in March as well as Wednesday and Thursday of March Break from 10am to 4pm.
