Man stabbed in the back in Oakville parking lot

Police in Halton say a man was stabbed in the back outside a restaurant in Oakville.

It happened in the Swiss Chalet parking lot on Cross Avenue Thursday just before 6 pm.

Police say three men began yelling at each other while driving on Trafalger road near the QEW.

A car pulled into the parking lot and was followed by two other men. Police say the fight escalated, and a man was stabbed.

He was taken to hospital and is expected to recover. Police are searching for two men responsible.
