Hamilton police located and re-arrested 18-year-old Sultan Aldarwish who escaped custody early Thursday morning from central Hamilton.
Officers said Aldarwish was arrested Thursday on an outstanding arrest warrant for failing to comply with a release order, and for other new charges for failing to comply with a release order.
At around 1 a.m. in the area of Main Street East and Grant Avenue, Aldarwish escaped from police custody.
Investigators along with the K9 unit searched through the city looking for the man.
Hamilton police posted on X just after 2 p.m. Monday that Aldarwish had been located and arrested in Burlington, with help from Halton police.

Charged with:

• Fail to Comply (x3)

Officers say Aldarwish has been charged with offences including escaping lawful custody, and three counts of failing to comply.
Police have not provided information regarding the circumstances of his arrest.
