Man killed in industrial accident

The Ministry of Labour is investigating after a 56 year old construction worker was crushed to death between a backhoe and the foundation of a home in Mississauga just after 12pm on Monday.

It happened on Camilla Road near the Queensway and Hurontario Street.

The Major Collision Bureau is helping the labour ministry with its investigation.

Police say the man was employed by a general contracting company.

His name has not been released.
