Man injured in Monday evening crash in Halton Hills

A man is in hospital with serious injuries following a crash involving a car and a tractor trailer in Halton Hills.

Police were called to Steeles Ave. and Ninth Line around 6 p.m. on Monday.

A man was taken to hospital with serious injuries. Police say he is expected to survive.

Steeles Ave. was closed between Winston Churchill Blvd. and Eighth Line for several hours for the police investigation.

It has since reopened.
