Man in 20s in critical condition after Niagara Falls shooting: police

Niagara police say a man in his 20s was taken to hospital in critical condition following a shooting early Wednesday morning.

It happened shortly after 1:30 a.m. in the area of Summer St. near Main St. in Niagara Falls.

Officers found the man laying on the road suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

He was taken to a local hospital for treatment before being flown to an out-of-town trauma centre for further care.

Investigators believe a black SUV and black car were possibly seen speeding from the scene.
