Hamilton police have arrested a man on drugs and weapons-related charges after a hit-and-run last Friday.
Police say they responded to a crash around 7:45 p.m. in the area of King Street East and Fairholt Road North.
According to investigators, witnesses say the people involved in the crash fled the scene on foot.
No injuries were reported as a result of the collision.

Nearby patrolling officers were alerted to the missing suspects and quickly arrested Hayden Reccord nearby on Garfield Avenue South.
During his arrest, police recovered Hydromorphone (Dilaudid) pills and a loaded Glock 26 handgun equipped with an extended magazine.
Reccord is facing seven charges, including possession of a prohibited loaded firearm and possession for the purpose of trafficking (Hydromorphone).
Reccord was held in custody for a bail hearing.
