Hamilton police have laid charges in connection with a string of robberies this month.

Police say the incidents began on March 4 and involved robberies at 10 corner stores and gas bars. They say a suspect brandished a knife and threatened to pull out a gun on tellers. No one was injured in the incidents. The force’s robbery unit arrested 42-year old Mark Zammit Wednesday afternoon. He is charged with 10 counts each of robbery and breach of probation, along with three counts of disguise with intent.
