Man charged again after police shut down Milton ‘chop shop’ for 3rd time

A man has been arrested and charged with multiple offences after police dismantled a “chop shop” for a third time in Milton.

On Jan. 19, Halton Regional Police found a vehicle that was reported stolen from Toronto at a shop on Trafalgar Road.

Officers searched the property and arrested Haider Ameer Khan of Brampton, shutting down the shop for the third time.

The 26-year-old man is facing three counts of possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 and two counts of failure to comply with a release order.

Khan was held in custody pending a bail hearing in Milton.
