Man air-lifted to hospital in life-threatening condition after fall over cliffs in Grimsby

A man was airlifted to hospital in life-threatening condition Wednesday morning after paramedics found him over a cliff in Grimsby.
Niagara EMS told CHCH News they received a call at around 8:30 a.m. of a man over a cliff along the Niagara Escarpment.
Paramedics and firefighters safely extracted the man over difficult terrain.
An eyewitness said they saw fire crews operating a rope rescue near the Beamer Conservation Area.
The man was transported on an Ornge air ambulance to an out-of-region hospital.
He was transported in life-threatening condition.
