A New Jersey man who police say was angry about a Facebook post has pleaded not guilty to fatally stabbing three people and knifing three others.

Jeremy Arrington appeared in a Newark courtroom on Thursday.

According to the Associated Press, authorities say 26-year-old Arrington might have been mad that one of the victims had shared a Facebook post from police naming him as a suspect in a shooting and sexual assault.

A 23-year-old college student, an 8-year-old girl and her 11-year-old brother died in the attack. An adult and two other children escaped.

Arrington has been charged with three counts of murder, three counts of attempted murder, criminal restraint, unlawful possession of a handgun, unlawful possession of a knife, and possession of a handgun and a knife for an unlawful purpose.
