Love the Coopers is an ensemble Christmas comedy directed by Jessie Nelson (Danny Collins). The large cast stars Alan Arkin, John Goodman, Ed Helms, Diane Keaton, Anthony Mackie, Amanda Seyfried, June Squibb, Marisa Tomei, and Olivia Wilde.

Charlotte Cooper (DIANE KEATON) has one simple holiday wish…for her family to have the memory of a perfect Christmas. But four generations of the Cooper clan gathering under the same roof is anything but perfect. Comfort and joy won’t come easy – a ton of snow will fall, food will fly and unexpected guests will join. But first, the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future will rear their heads as each of the Coopers makes the trip home…

“The Coopers want to get through the night without anybody in the family knowing what’s really going on (in their individual lives), and hopefully buying the idealized version of themselves that they are all presenting,” says Director Jessie Nelson. “What they do get is much better – truth, real connection and intimacy. It’s all those ghosts of Christmases past that visit us through memory. We bring so many memories to the holidays. We’re either worrying about the past or projecting our fears of the future. We’re often not in the moment.”
