Lone driver killed following car fire in Brant County: OPP

One person is dead following a car fire that left the vehicle fully engulfed in flames in Brant County Wednesday afternoon.
Brant OPP officers say they received a report of a single car on fire on Cockshutt Road around 2:30 p.m.
Emergency responders arrived to find the vehicle fully engulfed in flames and say there was a lone driver inside.
ROAD CLOSURE#BrantOPP responded to a vehicle fire on Cockshutt Road. Emergency services located the vehicle which was engulfed in flames. The lone occupant was pronounced deceased. Police say the driver succumbed to their injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Cockshutt Road between Hagan and Burtch Roads remained closed for several hours as officers continued to investigate, but has since re-opened.
