Local boy and son of Walk Off the Earth band members is nominated for a Juno Award

Four-year-old Romeo Nicassio takes the term foodie to another level.

With the help of his parents, Romeo started a YouTube channel called Romeo Eats.

Romeo has always taken an interest in unique foods and his parents decided to put their son’s culinary crusade online and it was an instant hit.

Romeo’s parents, Gianni Luminati and Sarah Blackwood are both members of the widely successful band Walk Off the Earth. The husband and wife team have a knack for social media. In 2012 their video ‘5 people 1 guitar’ went viral with 192 million views.

Romeo Eats Vol. 1 is a collection of songs from the web series and it is nominated for a Juno for children’s album of the year. Making Romeo the youngest person ever to be nominated for a Juno award.

Romeo Eats has over nine thousand subscribers on YouTube and over 777k views.
