Like winter, flu arrives late – but it’s here

Hamilton public health authorities have confirmed the first flu outbreak of the season.

The outbreak of influenza b is in a long term care facility.

Officials say people over 65 or under 2, pregnant women and those with chronic health conditions are at highest risk.

They also say with a late flu season this year, there’s still time to get your shot.
