The Hamilton Community Foundation Vital Signs report says while there are encouraging signs like lower unemployment, more small business startups, and a steady housing market – there are also negatives – like high child poverty rates in several neighbourhoods.
The report says the divide between areas shows the city is still struggling with economic inequality.
