Hamilton’s quality of life

A new report suggests that quality of life is improving in Hamilton, but not for everyone.

The Hamilton Community Foundation “Vital Signs” report says while there are encouraging signs like lower unemployment, more small business startups, and a steady housing market, there are also negatives such as high child poverty rates in several neighbourhoods.

The report says the divide between areas shows the city is still struggling with “economic inequality.”
