Life-altering injuries after motorcycle crash in Hamilton

Hamilton police ask the public for help following a serious single-vehicle motorcycle collision in the city’s east end.

On Sunday around 8:42 p.m., police and paramedics responded to a crash involving a motorcycle near Industrial Drive and Ottawa Street North.

Officers say a 2015 Kawasaki Ninja was travelling westbound on Nikola Tesla Boulevard, approaching a curve in the road near Industrial Drive and Ottawa Street North, when the rider was unable to navigate the curve.

Investigators say the motorcycle left the roadway and struck a guardrail. As a result, the 19-year-old male rider was transported to the hospital with life-altering injuries.

Police ask anyone who may have witnessed the collision, has dash camera or surveillance footage that may help or who was travelling in the area at the time, to come forward.
