Vancouver Canucks in Toronto Saturday night to play the Leafs.

Like all arenas and stadiums, Leafs taking a moment before the game to honor the victims of the Paris attacks.

First period, the Leafs with a 3 on 2. James Van Riemsdyk scores his 6th of the season. 1-0 Leafs.

Second period and the Leafs are on the powerplay. P.A. Parenteau scores to make it 2-0 Leafs.

Vancouver would get one back though in the second frame. Jannik Hansen beats Toronto goalie James Reimer to cut the lead in half after 40 minutes.

Third period, less than 2 minutes in, off a giveaway, Tyler Bozak to Shawn Matthias who scores on his former team. 3-1 Leafs.

It’s now 3-2 when Joffrey Lupul scores his 200th career goal.

James Reimer was outstanding. He’s 4-1-2 in his last 7 games.

Leafs have won 3 in a row and have points in 5 straight games and 6 of 7.

Final score, Maple Leafs 4, Canucks 2.

Toronto travels to Madison Square Gardens to play the Rangers Sunday night.
