Kia Soul flees pedestrian hit-and-run in St. Catharines, teen at trauma centre

A teenager is in a trauma centre after a pedestrian hit-and-run in St. Catharines Monday afternoon and the driver of the car is at large.

The collision happened around 4:30 p.m. Dec. 23 on Carlton Street between Roehampton and Grantham Avenues.

Niagara police say the driver of a white Kia Soul SUV ran into the 16-year-old boy who was walking on the sidewalk.

The driver then took off in the vehicle heading west on Carlton Street.
