We have just announced our fall line-up, which includes some exciting new shows. As Kate Carnegie reports, come September two of the most popular game shows on TV will call CHCH home.
Our fall programming:
Your Home for Great Movies (HD) CHCH is home to familiar favourites throughout the week, wrapping up each week with some of Hollywood’s biggest movies on the CHCH Sunday Blockbuster. 8pm (3 hours)
20/20 (HD, Simulcast with ABC) A primetime news magazine program featuring co-anchors Elizabeth Vargas and Chris Cuomo, 20/20 combines hard-hitting investigative reports, newsmaker interviews and compelling human interest and feature stories. Fridays at 10pm (Duration: 60 minutes)
48 Hours Mystery (HD, Simulcast with CBS) Television’s most popular true-crime series, 48 Hours Mystery investigates shocking cases and compelling real-life dramas with journalistic integrity and cutting-edge style. Saturdays at 10pm (Duration: 60 minutes)
60 Minutes (HD, Simulcast with CBS) The most successful television newsmagazine in history offers hard-hitting investigative reports, interviews, feature segments and profiles of people in the news. Sundays at 7pm (Duration: 60 minutes)
American Dad! **NEW** (HD) Premieres September 2012 An animated comedy revolving around Stan, a CIA agent in Langley Falls, VA, whose main objective in life is national security. His family, a talking goldfish and a space alien rescued from Area 51, keep him busy while he tries to prevent terrorist activity in the U.S. Wednesdays at 10:30pm (Duration: 30 minutes)
Bones **NEW** (HD) Premieres September 2012 An investigative drama about Dr. Temperance Brennan, a highly-skilled forensic anthropologist who works with FBI Agent Seeley Booth to assist on murder investigations, when the standard methods of identifying a body are useless. The Glades (HD) Season 2 Premieres September 2012 Jim Longworth is a homicide detective who relocates to the sleepy, middle of nowhere town of Palm Glade, Florida, looking for a change of pace from his old life with the Chicago Police Department. He soon learns this place outside the Everglades isn’t quite so idyllic, as he finds people keep turning up murdered. Fridays at 8pm (Duration: 60 minutes)
