Historic Ivor Wynne Stadium will be no more by February.

The stadium will be torn down to make way for a new one, which will host soccer during the Pan Am games and be the new home of the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

A demolition permit will be issued shortly, and construction will begin soon after the demolition is complete, in order to make the 2014 deadline.

Some dismantling has already happened, and some pieces from the old stadium are available for an online auction.
