Israel intercepts drones from Iran after launching attack

Israel’s military says it has started intercepting drones from Iran after striking nuclear and military sites in Tehran.
Israel attacked the capital yesterday in strikes that targeted the country’s nuclear program and raised the potential for an all-out war between the two Middle East adversaries.
It appeared to be the most significant attack Iran has faced since its 1980s war with Iraq, with Israeli security officials saying the Mossad spy agency smuggled weapons into Iran ahead of the operation.
Dozens of locations across Iran were hit, with photos showing apartment buildings damaged and on fire. Two top Iranian generals have been confirmed dead.
Airspace over Tehran has been shut down and Israel also closed its own airspace and declared a state of emergency.
President Donald Trump held a cabinet meeting Thursday evening to discuss Washington’s response to the attacks.
Secretary of State Narco Rubio says there was no U.S. involvement.
