Identification of deceased Hamilton man

Hamilton police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a deceased man found on the rooftop of Jackson Square at 2 King St. west.

Police say on May 2, shortly after 8 pm, a citizen found two men lying on the ground unresponsive.

One of the men woke up and left the scene on foot before police arrived.

The other man was pronounced dead by paramedics.

Police say the deceased man had no identification and there have been no inquiries or missing persons with his description reported.

The body was sent to the Centre of Forensic Sciences where his description was confirmed.

Police believe his lifestyle was a contributing factor in his death and police are not investigating it as suspicious.

He is described as a 21-32 year-old man, approximately 5’8, 202 pounds with black curly shoulder length hair and a light complexion.

He was wearing a black patterned golf shirt, a blue Fila sports jersey, a black winter Canada Goose jacket, black and grey slippers, a watch with a black and grey striped band, a necklace with a pendent, a silver bracelet and costume jewellery earrings.

Police are asking anyone who can help identify this man to contact them immediately.
