Hyundai is recalling 82,000 electric vehicles around the world.

Batteries on the vehicles need to be replaced, after 15 reports of fires. No injuries were reported in any of the fires.

The recall is one of the most expensive in history.

Experts say replacing an entire battery on electric cars requires a similar amount of work and expense as replacing an entire engine of a traditional gasoline-powered car.

The average cost is $11,000 per car and will cost Hyundai about $900 million USD.
