Marvel’s penultimate Phase 2 film is the third highest grossing film of the year and the sixth highest grossing of all time. Now it’s looking to do big business on Blu-Ray, DVD, and digital. There’s a surprising lack of special features however, especially when you consider all that Joss Whedon has said about having to cut the film down so much from his original vision. Along with a few deleted scenes you can listen to the audio commentary, watch some behind the scenes featurettes, and check out a gag reel.

Spy is the third hit that Melissa McCarthy and director Paul Feig have brought to theatres, and there’s no doubt their upcoming Ghostbusters film will be just as hilarious. The home video release of Spy includes a generous helping of bonus content including a full unrated cut of the film, audio commentary from Feig, gag reels, a bunch of featurettes, and deleted scenes.

Not all movies need remakes, and Poltergeist proves that even if you stay faithful to your source material and pay it the respect it deserves, you can’t guarantee the same success. This horror remake currently sits at 31% over on Rotten Tomatoes, so it may be worth a rental and nothing more. The only real special feature of note is the extended cut of the film, which probably doesn’t make it any better.
