Hollywood mourns as ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ star Eric Dane dies at age 53

VIDEO: Hollywood is mourning the loss of actor Eric Dane. In a statement, Dane’s publicist says he died Thursday following a battle with ALS, he was 53-years-old. The statement went on to say he spent his final days surrounded by family and friends. Dane was best known for his roles on “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Euphoria.” His death comes less than a year after he announced his ALS diagnosis. He proceeded to put his efforts into advocating for those who have progressive, neurodegenerative disease.
