Fatal crash on Highway 52

Just after 6:00 am a serious motor vehicle collision took place between a transport truck and car on Highway 52 near Concession Road 2 in Flamborough.

The driver of the car, a 25 year old from Hamilton, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the transport truck was taken to hospital.

Highway 52 between Concession Road 2 and Governors Road is closed till 5:00 pm.

Detectives have indicated that weather was a possible contributing factor in the collision, the investigation is ongoing.
