Highway 403 closures in Hamilton begin tonight

The Ministry of Transportation is advising the public about several closures along Highway 403 in Hamilton this weekend due to rehabilitation work.

Starting tonight at 11 p.m., all lanes of the eastbound 403 between King St. W. and Highway 6 will be closed until Aug. 29 at 5 a.m.

Entrance ramps from King St. W. and York Blvd. to eastbound 403 will also be closed.

Motorists should expect delays along adjacent roads and should follow detour signs.

The planned bridge work will happen along Highway 403 at the Macklin St. overpass and the Old Guelph Rd. overpass.
