Here’s where you can donate your Christmas tree this week

The Royal Botanical Gardens (RBG) has reached its goal of collecting the maximum amount of Christmas tree donations, but people can still donate trees to other charities.

RBG has reached their goal of collecting a maximum of 2,000 Christmas tree donations this year, since their website no longer allows people to register for drop off.

Conservation Halton says they will be accepting trees in Waterdown and Burlington later this week.

On Friday, trees can be dropped off at 673 Concession 4 West in Waterdown from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Also on Saturday, trees will be accepted at 2596 Britannia Rd. in Burlington from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Conservation Halton says the Christmas trees will be used for creek restoration.
