Two Hell’s Angels members have pled guilty to extortion and assault.

Deputy Crown Attorney Tony Leitch says the men were hired to break into the home of two Hamilton bar owners in August of 2011, and force them to transfer their liquor license in a sales dispute.

Leitch says one of the Hell’s Angels members punched one of the victims in the neck and face and demanded the owners sign a document settling the sale of their bar.

42 year old James Sherwood was sentenced to three years in jail, less the 16 months he’s already spent in custody.

He will also be prohibited for life from owning or possessing weapons.

Meanwhile, 29 year old Joel Rollin awaits sentencing on January 29th, and remains out of custody.
