Hearing for Hamilton cop postponed

The hearing for Hamilton Police Sergeant Robert Mayea has been postponed for a 20th time.

Mayea is charged with insubordination and neglect of duty under the Police Services Act, related to an unprofessional email sent to his colleagues. The charges were laid three years ago.

Mayea is currently on sick leave, and did not attend today’s hearing. A new date for his hearing will be set on June 23rd.
