Hamilton’s Bishop Ryan loses to CCH Crusaders in OFSAA Western Bowl

Hamilton’s Bishop Ryan high school took on the London Crusaders in OFSAA action and it didn’t end well with 25-0 for the final.

The game was held Monday at Guelph University for the  OFSAA Western Bowl.

It’s been 44 years since the Bishop Ryan senior football team has won a championship and today was not their day.

Fans say the players were ready for it and they had full support behind them.

Jim Davies,  head coach of Bishop Ryan football, says the loss was painful for the team but he reminds students they should be “very proud of their season.”
