Hamilton restaurants temporarily closed due to potential COVID-19 cases

Some Hamilton restaurants announced they are temporarily shutting down due to potential COVID-19 cases among their staff.

Coach and Lantern in Ancaster posted that they will be closed until Dec. 28 due to positive rapid tests within their staff members.

Bon Temps restaurant also posted they will be closed until Dec. 31, while they wait for a PCR test to confirm whether one of their employees have contracted the virus. 

In their post, they are urging anyone who has been in the restaurant on Dec. 15, 17, or 18 to get tested.

Ray’s Food and Liquor say they are pausing operations after receiving news of COVID-19 cases, but didn’t indicate any other details. 

Farside also posted that they will be closed until PCR test results come back for an employee, even though the rapid test came back negative.
