Hamilton police are asking for the public’s help in finding an offender wanted on multiple charges.

Officers say 50-year-old Siphay Khansaiyasith is wanted for assault, assault with a weapon, forcible confinement and uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.

Police would not specify what led to those charges, but say they’re related to an ongoing investigation since early February.

Khansaiyasith is believed to be in the Hamilton or Kitchener-Waterloo area, officers say.

If seen, do not approach him and call 911 immediately.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact the police’s fugitive apprehension unit at 905-540-6431.
