Hamilton police seek man unlawfully at large from St. Joseph’s Hospital

Hamilton police are looking for a patient who failed to return to St. Joseph’s Hospital West 5th Campus after being granted a one-hour pass.

Officers say 39-year-old Nathaniel White was an involuntary patient in the forensic program at 100 West 5th Street.

Detectives were alerted at around 4:50 p.m. that White had failed to return to the hospital after being granted a one-hour pass.

White is now unlawfully at large and wanted on a warrant of committal — officers say they are also concerned about his wellbeing..

Police describe White as a five-foot-nine tall white man with an average build.

He was last seen wearing a black sweater, black pants, and grey and black shoes.

He was also last seen carrying a bright yellow guitar case and green reusable grocery bag.

Investigators say he is known to frequent local businesses and restaurants on the Hamilton Mountain.

Anyone who sees him is warned to not approach him and to call police.
