Hamilton police seek man suspected of armed robbery near Lime Ridge Mall

Hamilton police are looking for a man suspected of the armed robbery of a business near Mall Road and Upper Wentworth Street last Monday.

Officers say at around 1:15 p.m. they responded to reports of a robbery in the area, where a suspect had entered a business and directed staff to hand over cash at knife point.

They say the suspect carried a large knife during the robbery, and had fled the area before police arrived.

Detectives describe the suspect as a white man who wore a black face covering, a black long-sleeve shirt with “Carhart” on it, blue jean shorts and black shoes which had white soles on them.
