Hamilton police seek man accused of multiple lottery ticket thefts

Hamilton police are looking for a man in connection with a series of lottery ticket thefts that have been happening across the city since April.

Officers say they believe the same person is responsible for multiple incidents at gas stations and convenience stores.

Detectives say handfuls or entire trays of tickets were taken at each theft.

Investigators describe the suspect as a white man between the ages of 25 and 30 years old, with a medium build.

He was last seen with brown hair and wearing black-rimmed glasses or dark sunglasses and a backpack.
