Hamilton police reminding drivers not to leave their vehicles unoccupied with the engine running

“Warming up the car” takes a turn for the worse in Hamilton after a thief spots the idling SUV with the driver’s dog inside. This theft, along with many others, is prompting another warning from police, with officers saying nearly 60 cars were stolen last month and over 30-percent were unoccupied, with the engine running.
