Hamilton police investigating sudden death in Winona

Hamilton police are investigating a sudden death in Winona.

Emergency crews were called to the area of Barton St. and Fifty Rd. around 5:30 a.m. Thursday.

Officers have put up police tape and cordoned off the train tracks and surrounding roadway on Winona Rd. between Victoria Ave. and Pettit St.

Police have released few details about the death but say they will provide an update “once one is available.”

Residents are being asked to avoid the area while police conduct their investigation.
