Hamilton police investigating reports of a shooting

Hamilton police are investigating after reports of shots being fired in broad daylight.

Officers were called to King William and Wellington streets around 4 pm Saturday. Witnesses reported hearing gunshots and watched a group of 5 or 6 people in their late teens or early 20’s scatter in multiple directions.

A victim has not yet been located and police are looking for anyone that may have been involved. Anyone with information is asked to call police.
