Hamilton police investigating fatal shooting in east end

Hamilton police are investigating a fatal shooting in the area of Sanford Avenue North and Acorn Street.

Police say the victim is a 53-year-old man who they believe was targeted. According to police, there is no threat to public safety; however, they have not provided any information on suspects, or whether they have anyone in custody.
